8. Why is there oil in the diesel engine water tank of the loader forklift?
When checking the diesel radiator (water tank) water level, if the cause is found in the water tank, remove the fault and then start the diesel engine, there are two situations that can make the oil in the water tank:
(I) The Diesel Engine Oil cooler (water cooler) freeze crack, water cooler core cracking and sealing gasket (ring) damage, so that oil leakage into the cooling system, resulting in oil into the water tank, should be opened oil cooler inspection. If the oil cooler is cracked, it is usually accompanied by low oil pressure.
(2) The hydraulic transmission oil/water cooler shall be removed and checked if the sealing is not good or the water tank is frozen and cracked.
In order to prevent the water cooler from freezing-cracking phenomenon, in the cold season to use diesel engines, do not forget to drain the water in the diesel engine oil cooler and hydraulic transmission oil and water cooler.
