The wheel loader planetary axle is installed in the planetary carrier of the drive axle. The planetary axle, planetary carrier, planetary gear, sun gear, internal ring gear, etc. form a wheelside reducer assembly, which is installed at both ends of the wheel loader drive axle.
The function of the planetary gear shaft: to support the planetary gears on the wheel edge and transmit power.
The form of the planetary shaft: usually a through shaft with the same outer diameter and positioned by steel balls. The other is a stepped shaft, with a change in outer diameter and positioned by a slot.
The power generated by the loader drive axle reducer drives the planetary gear to roll along the inner ring gear through the half shaft and sun gear, driving the planetary gear shaft, planetary gear carrier, and wheel tires to rotate, making the loader move.
The main causes of planetary shaft failure:
1. Long-term use causes serious wear of the planet wheel shaft.
2. The loader needs to frequently switch forward and reverse gears, or the loader is overloaded, and the huge impact force causes the planetary shaft to break.
